Louis T. Polletta

Webster – Louis T. Polletta, 92, passed away peacefully on Monday February 14, 2022 surrounded by his loving family.

Louis was born in Webster, MA on October 1, 1929, son of the late Vincenzo and Frances (Pizzotti) Polletta; he graduated from Bartlett High School in 1947. After High School, Louis joined the United States Army where he served honorably during the Korean War. After leaving the service, Louis married the love of his life the late Margaret M. (Mendillo) Polletta and joined the Webster Police Department where he served until his retirement in 1993. Living in town all of his life, Louis was very active with the Webster Retirement Board, the Knights of Columbus, and was a faithful member of St. Louis Church.

Louis is survived by his sons Michael Polletta and his wife Pamela of Thompson, CT, and Richard Polletta and his wife Jane of Webster; his sisters Rose Silvestri of Webster, and Edith Oliosi of Buzzard’s Bay; he also leaves two grandchildren, as well as many nieces, nephews, relatives, and dear friends.

The Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday February 22, 2022 at 10:00 am in St. Louis Church, 15 Lake Street Webster, MA, followed by Military Honors to be held at the church. Please go directly at the church. In lieu of flowers, please send memorial contributions to St. Louis Church.
