School Resource Officer

The School Resource Officer (SRO) Program is a partnership between the Webster Public School System and the Webster Police Department. The purpose is to promote a positive relationship between youth and police, to ensure a safe learning environment for both students and staff.

Officer Daniel Mehlhouse is assigned as the School Resource Officer (SRO)/Juvenile Officer for the Town of Webster. His role as SRO is to reduce juvenile delinquency offenses and truancy in our school system. He is currently assigned to investigate any crime or incident that occurs in our schools. He works with the schools resolving problems and violations, such as bullying or disorderly behaviors. He is here to promote a positive environment and be a positive role model within the community. The idea is to increase the visibility and accessibility of police to the school community.
