 The Town of Webster Staff meet every other week to discuss land development proposals and provide advice to project proponents on the various regulations and requirements for projects. These Staff Meetings offer land owners and developers the opportunity to get questions regarding: Zoning, On-site Sewage Disposal, Public Water availability, Public Sewer availability, Street Access, Storm Water Management requirements, Board of Health requirements, Building Code requirements, Fire Code requirements, Conservation requirements, and Public Safety concerns answered at one time while providing staff with insight into the concerns of other departments. To make an appointment to meet with the Technical Review Staff, please email: review.appointment@webster-ma.gov

Zoning Board of Appeals Members

The Webster Zoning Board of Appeals is a volunteer Board consisting of five members and two associate members that are appointed by the Board of Selectmen for three-year terms. The current members of the Zoning Board are:

Powers of the Board of Appeals

The Zoning Board of Appeals is a quasi-judicial body that operates under the authority of Chapter 40A of the General Laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts for the purpose of promoting the health, safety, convenience, and general welfare of the Town of Webster. The Zoning Board of Appeals has the power to hear appeals, to hear requests for special permits, and to hear requests for variances. Applications are available in the Town Clerk's Office.
