Veterans interested in participating in honors ceremonies are welcome to join one of the ceremonies below.
Memorial Day May 31, 2021 - HONORS CEREMONIES
09:15am – Veterans will meet at the Webster Veterans Home at
4 Veterans Way (adjacent to St. Louis Church) to board a bus at 09:45am to the cemeteries. The locations to be visited are listed in order. No set time is scheduled for the honors themselves therefore we must be flexible to adapt to traffic, persons who walk slowly, etc.
Stop 1 – Holy Trinity Cemetery, New Boston Rd, Dudley
Stop 2 - Corbin Cemetery in Dudley.
Stop 3 – Village Cemetery
Stop 4 – Dudley First Congregational Church on Dudley Hill.
Stop 5 - Dudley Court of Honor at the Dudley Municipal Complex on West Main St., Dudley.
Stop 6 - Calvary Cemetery on Cemetery Rd., Dudley, MA.
Stop 7 - VFW Bridge between Dudley and Webster (before the left turn onto Bigelow Rd.,) Webster.
Stop 8 - St. Joseph Cemetery, Webster.
Stop 9 - Sacred Heart Cemetery, Webster.
Stop 10 - Mount Zion Cemetery on Worcester Rd.
Stop 11 - St. Anthony Cemetery, Webster
Stop 12 - Webster Court of Honor at the Webster Town Hall. When guests arrive at the Court of Honor, please be advised that parking will be available at the library or at the Town Hall parking lot.
Stop 13 – Final stop – Urbanowski Square on Ray Street adjacent to the PAV.
Please keep in mind that the events of this day are only meant to show respect and honor to those veterans who have passed and is not meant to be an event attended by all citizens in regard to the restrictions on social distancing.
