[ARCHIVED] Fireworks and July 4th at the beach

Fireworks will be held on July 3rd at Memorial Beach!  The main gates will open at 5pm.  Feel free to bring a picnic and enjoy the beach before the fireworks start, but grilling will not be allowed.  Entry fee for cars will be $10.  This fee applies even if you have a sticker.  All walk-ins will be $2.  Fireworks will go off at approximately 9pm.  The boat ramp will be closed the entire day

The Fourth tends to be an extremely busy day.  The beach will open at 7am.  If the line backs up on Thompson Rd please be aware to not block in Webster EMS or the Fire Station.

To keep the line moving on both days we will only accept cash and stickers will not be sold.  So get your stickers prior to July 3rd if you want one.  Also, we typically hit capacity on July 4th.  If we hit capacity we do close the gate to all entries.    We reassess the beach every couple of hours when we close for capacity and will reopen as soon as we can.  If you get turned away please remember we are doing it for the safety of all.  fireworks
