[ARCHIVED] Webster Lake no wake restrictions lifted
The Town of Webster is rescinding its no wake request issued in the past two weeks.
The lake water level has come down about five to six inches from its maximum level. The dam in Stump Pond has already been slowed earlier today. The goal will be to let the lake reach summer level as slowly as possible barring any more major rain events. The level is currently approximately 4” above the normal summer high mark.
The Town would like to thank all of those people who were very understanding and considerate in adhering to the no wake request the past couple weeks. Significant shoreline and property damage was avoided.
