What is the current Webster Tax Rate?

$12.50 for both Residential and Commercial.

How much did I pay/is owed for my taxes/excise?

When will my exemption show on my bill?

Exemptions are applied to the 3rd and 4th quarter real estate bills, so you will see the amounts on your February and May bills.

How come my excise bill is the same every year?

At the five year mark, your vehicle excise is at 10 percent of the original MSRP and will therefore stay the same amount for the life of the vehicle.

I sold my boat. Do I owe the bill?

Boat excise bills cover July 1st of the previous year through June 30th of the current year. If a boat was registered at all in that time frame, the bill is owed.
