The Committee typically meets ___ at 7:00 p.m in the Irene Martel Conference Room at Webster Town Hall. Meetings are open to the public.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Town of Webster By-Laws § 14-1

There shall be a Bylaw Committee consisting of five voters of the Town, two of whom shall be appointed by the Town Moderator on or before June first of each year for the term of three years. The duties of the Committee shall be to make recommendations of the Town concerning all proposed changes in the Bylaws, and members shall receive no compensation for their services. This Bylaw Committee shall also make the five-year review of the bylaws per Section 7-7 of the Charter.
The Bylaw Committee shall report to Town Meeting on all proposed changes to the bylaw which are included on the warrant for Town Meeting. The Bylaw Committee may request proposals for bylaw amendments from official bodies and inhabitants. The Bylaw Committee may submit Articles to amend the bylaw on the Warrant for Town Meeting action.

The Town of Webster is seeking individuals to serve on the By-Law Committee. The Committee is comprised of five members appointed by the Town Moderator. All members are appointed to serve a three year term. The Board meets as needed. The duties of the Committee shall be to make recommendations of the Town concerning all proposed changes in the Bylaws.
